We did this last January after our first year in business and we absolutely loved digging into this list. So for at least a month we've been sneaking peaks to see how our top 100 of 2017 would shake out. Check out the list and then below that some of the quick notes we found interesting after our first pass. We would love to know what you think, find out how many of these you have read, and learn what you think might be criminally missing.

• Image Comics is our top publisher, making up 52% of the list
• DC comes in 2nd with 21.5%, Marvel was 3rd with 11%, Scholastic captured 3%, IDW made up 2.5%, Action Lab, Black Mask, and Dark Horse each snagged 2%, and AdHouse, BOOM!, Humanoids, and Oni Press each came in at 1%
• We were pleasantly surprised to find 6 "all ages" titles on the list
• By our count about 48% of these have female leads/ensemble casts with prominent female characters
• We pride ourselves on offering something for everyone, but we do love ourselves some good ol' fashion superhero comics and that's reflected here as the tights and capes crowd makes up 26% of the list
• Saga Volume 8 was out for all of 4 days of 2017 and still managed to come in at #30 for the year
• There are 4 ongoing series on this list with at least 3 published volumes where every available volume made the top 100: Paper Girls (3 volumes), Saga (8 volumes), Sex Criminals (4 volumes), Wicked + Divine (5 volumes). These 4 series make up 20% of the list
• Though Saga volume 7 was our best seller it only accounted for 1.4% of all the graphic novels we sold. We're extremely proud of the fact that we sold such a wide variety of awesome books to awesome people this year!
